I was looking for anyone with experience using QTP with a flash/flex interface. We are trying to come up with the best way to include the QTP automation libraries in our application (required to use QTP for flex).
Adobe offers 2 options:
1-add the automation libraries to the source code when you compile
2-load the original swf file in another swf file compiled with the automation libraries using the swfLoader class.

Option 2 is a more attractive avenue since it allows us to avoid changing any source code and maintains integrity of the shipped application. However I am unable to properly load the original swf file in the newly compiled swf file. It always barks on missing functions and null object references.
From the documentation provided this should be as simple as calling one file from the other, and the original would contain all the internal references and load as though it were launched on its own.

If anyone has any experience with this, I appreciate any feedback.
