I was wondering how you guys are building your OR when using DP?
Personally, I assign a unique identifier to a variable (e.g. x = "Name:=password box") in a vbs file, then refer to this throughout the scripts. (e.g WebEdit(x))
However, there is of course the Description object. Personally I've stayed away from this because I experienced some strange behaviour a while ago when trying to use the object within a loop, but am wondering if everyone else does that way.
I don't use DP. Maintenance cost seems awful if you've got
a "non-testing goal-developped app" as I have, ie 80 % of objects are x,y,abs_xy parameterizedwith NO text.
To find an object without Quicktest integrated spy & search tools is an absolute waste of time, ie you could spent 10 minute on one single DPed object figuring out why the DP is not seen. OR just adresses those issues like a breeze. While DP : look for yourself - and good luck !
I had opened a thread about those issues a couple of weeks ago - to allow expressions of experiences.
