I created this action in QTP verison 8.2 with Java plug in.
I just kept the checkbox checked for the java plug in where it was not needed.
Now I have to modify this script in QTP 9.1 without the Java plug in. My problem is that I dont have the plug in for QTP 9.1.
Is there any way like removing the call to the plug in somehow, so that I can modify it in QTP 9.1 without using the plug in?
Its automation not automagic
Do your script has java objects?
If yes, then you wouldn't be able to modify that piece of code (java objects), rest other i think you should be able to modify it.
Are you able to open the script or not?

As I said there was no requirement of using the Java plug in. I just kept the checkbox checked.
I am able to open them but they are read only.
Save it local using Save As... and the go to test settings and modify the checkboxes for the Java Addin and then resave it in QC.
