Missing Resources Vs External Action Call Modifier
Before QTP 9, if we wnated to change the location of an external action, QTP Plus had a wonderous little utility called External Action Call Modifier. Thsi allowed use to change the location from the which the action was stored.
However QTP 9 sure this functionality included within QTP through the missing resources table.
Has anybody noticed that using Missing Resources in QTP 9 results in all the calls to the external actions having "[2}" added to the end? This really annoys me!!!
Re: Missing Resources Vs External Action Call Modi
Well i did that for the first time yesterday for a script some one else has created. I saw this added at then end of the resolved action. But i could not resolve some of the missing actions even after supplying the path. One real big reason i dont prefer using actions at all in QTP for big tests.
