    How to handle Security alerts and proxys

    Hi All,

    While running my script, i get error as "Object is disabled"
    along with the Security alerts or proxy’s..
    I
    have written this lines

    If browser("name:=xyz.* ").dialog("text:=Connect to proxy").winbutton("text:=OK").Exist then
    Browser("name:=xyz.*").Dialog("text:=Connect to proxy").Activate
    Browser("name:=xyz.*").Dialog("text:=Connect to proxy").WinButton("text:=OK").Click
    End if

    Even though i had written code for Security alerts or proxy’s its not working....it gets popup in between i get error as "Object is disabled"

    any suggestions??

    Pop-ups: You can handle with recovery scenarios.

    Activate your application using

    Set Wsh=CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    Wsh.AppActivate "AppName"

    Re: How to handle Security alerts and proxys

    Is this really needed?
    Browser("name:=xyz.*").Dialog("text:=Connect to proxy").Activate
    I think, qtp can directly click on the button eventhough you didnot write this code.
    Nothing is permanent in this world.
    But, that POWER (Who/what is it?) makes us to believe this is Eternal. It makes us good/bad things. I also believe that this is permanent universe. So I should work my job/service to others. No one is good/bad on this according to our knowledge. That power??? makes all these.

    For Dialog and Window no need to specify browser because it is a independant entity.
