    Scroll down VBS coding

    I need to scroll down my web page. Vscroll is an option but i do not know how to use it into coding. I tried to record vertical scroll down on the page through keyboard and through mouse-recording, but was not able to resolve the issue.

    Please suggest how i can make my script to scroll down through coding.

    Re: Scroll down VBS coding

    Here's something I use to take snapshots of request of which there are 12 request per page and multiple pages:

    '================================================= =============================
    RowCount=.WebTable("innertext:=Request Code.*").RowCount
    For i= 1 to RowCount Step 12
    sElement = Browser("X").Page("X").WebTable("innertext:=Reques t Code.*").GetCellData(i,1)
    .WebElement("index:=1","html tag:=TD","innertext:=.*"& sElement &".*").Object.scrollIntoView()
    Call GetDateTime(dateTime)
    ssname = "Pending Requests" & dateTime
    TakeSnapshot Browser("X"), ssname, Environment
    Next
    '================================================= =========================

    Re: Scroll down VBS coding

    I need to check for some links at the bottom of the web page. I had added all the objects in the repository and tried to test. The error displays that the objects are not available on the screen. For this purpose i want to scroll down the page and then check.

    Please help me with the code for scroll-down on a web page.

    Can't you remove the snapshot stuff and amend to suit your objects?

    If the worst comes to worst, there is a mouse scrollwheel function I submitted to the 'donate a script' sticky. Try that or perhaps reduce the text size to put more on the visible page.

    Re: Scroll down VBS coding

    rong,

    can you please post a link to the script you donated as I cannot find it - when I do a search on "scrollwheel", this is the only hit on it.

    I've been trying to scroll down a webpage in a frame and it just seems impossible...I've tried using the scrollintoview and it makes the top frame go away/unaccessible.

    Thanks,
    Scott D.
