Descriptive Programming Question - IDing Images
I've read a lot of the posts here about descriptive programming and posted some questions when I have ran into issues. Haven't said thanks to the latest answers, but better late than never. Thanks! I think one of the answers resolved my problem.
Here's another question. I've been using the file name attribute to identify images. I've been lucky so far without having an image reused on the same page for different functionality. Until yesterday. I hit a page that uses the same image to start about 70 different processes. The function that I wrote lets me use an index, but I'd really rather not go that way in case the page layout changes. I tried IDing with the href or src attributes, but QTP can't find the image.
Can the href and src attributes be used with DP to identify an image? I finally broke down and used the file name and index to get it working, but I hate when things don't work "right."

Yes you can use them in similar ways.
