two applications and validations
I have a web based application and in which the attatched is a screen.
In this screen, I have a drop down with 5 telephone numbers.I didn't select any one of them ,here I just want to check whether the count is 5 or not.
then I need to go to the second application,where I need to check the status of the 5 TN'S (which are there in the first application)and i have to check that the status should be " Hold for selection".
then again I have to come back to the first application and to the same screen and select one TN from the drop down list and finish the rest of the navigation(the navigation is completed by clicking on Finish button in the last screen).
once I click on finish by going through various screens in the first application,I have to go to the second application and check the status of the 5 TN'S .
The status of the telephone number which I selected in the Drop down should changed to "Hold for order completion" and rest 4 TN'S status should changed to "Available".
This finishes my test case.
i recorded the script like above and made the edits like using indexes etc.............
what my problem is : whenever I go into the same screen next time , the number which I selected in the drop down is no more available in the drop down and it is replaced with the new one.
I didn't get the proper idea how to do this.
please give me a tip on this, I can do the rest.
Re: two applications and validations
iCount=Browser("X").Page("Y").WebList("Z").GetROPR operty("items count")
If Cint(iCount) = 5 Then
.... Do Passed
.... Do Fail
One thing to note, it looks like your weblist has a default values of blank, I think this means the items count will be 6.
