I am facing a problem in text checkpoint for a dialog box.
On including a text checkpoint for a dialog box and then running the script, I found that during execution of the script, the text retrieved from the dialog box is blank and as result, the checkpoint is failing. The text does exist for the dialog box as I am able to get the text with the GetROProperty.
Any pointers why such a problem is occuring?
Can you try with Standard Checkpoint instead of Text Checkpoint and don't forget to give wait statement before the checkpoint. If again its not working, can you provide what you are trying. Because then only we know whats going on there.
I guess rss is right!!! prompts present in dialog boxes are not text oriented... so when u try for a text checkpoint it returns a null value as there is no text present there... the prompts must be web elements and i guess standard checkpoint should solve the issue... i guess, you want to check the content of your dialog box... if that is the case then i think you should go for a standard checkpoint...
