IS it possible to access QTP remotely ,
1)Scenarios would be QTP & AUT installed on remote machines
2) QTP in remote and AUT in local Machhine
3) QTP in local machine and AUT in remote
the OS used would be Vista
and if this is possible do write to me the workaround for the same
I have worked on your first scenario.
If you are able to access a box , means you can use QTP to test any application on that box.
Second and third scenario will not work.

Yes we can able to access QTP scripts and execute remotley. use same public IP addess. Make sure that both the systems should have same Admin permissions.
One more thing, we can exeute QTP sripts without having QTP in the same system.
All the Best.
So how about QTP on a client machine using VBScript to access registry settings on a server machine remotely? I almost possible that there is a way to do this from VBscript. I just can't seem to find it.
yup, I tried invoking QTP (on a remote machine) from WSH on my local machine
