New to QA and want some help with QTP
I have no experience with QA before but do know couple of programming languages and did 3 projects. I have been offered a training for QA and it seems the company is going to train me in QTP. Is is possible for a person with no knowledge of QA before can learn QTP in 4 weeks and be able to work? What are the basic things I should know to learn QTP? I'm going to have a technical screening in VBScript this week. So I guess Scripting is essential. What else do I need to know? Thanks in advance.

<u>Very</u> unlikely in my opinion. And if your client knows your background and has still made this offer, then you had better beware, because their expectations will always be more than you (and perhaps anyone) can deliver.
