I am trying on google for couple of days to find out information on QTP Injectors. Unfortunetely i dont find any info.
One of my friend is asked in interview about QTP Injectors experiance. I am wondering if any come accross QTP injectors. I know load runner injectors but never heard of QTP Injector. I searched on Mercury site also. There is no info. Please let me know if any one knows about this.
Thanks a lot for wonderfull people on this forum. I learned a lot from this forum. Tarun suggestions are wonderfull.
A Loadrunner injector is basically a separate machine that adds virtual users to a load test. This allows a load test to access the network from multiple machines all monitored through one Loadrunner controller - a good way to add extra load to a network, and also a good way to add more virtual users than the controller machine could handle on its own.
Since QTP doesn't do load testing, I don't see how this term could be relevant to QTP.
So, I'm guessing that either:
A. the interviewer didn't know the difference so asked an irrelevent question
B. he did know the difference and was trying to see if the interviewee also knew the difference
C. maybe the interviewer switched tracks and actually asked about Loadrunner injectors and the interviewee didn't realize the tracks were switched and just thought they were still talking about QTP
