QTP issues

Hi,

1.I have a few external functions like login.vbs.
2. Now I have an excelsheet called "testcase1" where I am putting all the function names to be executed in column B and the test data (input parameters) in column C.
4. Also I have tried to parameterize all the browsers and pages (all elements of webpages stored in OR)
5. I am taking all the values in every cell of this sheet and putting it in an array.
6. then I am using this array as input to another function where I have a select-case statement for a particaular function called.
7. Now my problem is the column C has the browser name, page name, username, password as input parameters for function corresponding to column B.
7. But for column C which has many arguments seperated by a ",". I have to use split function and then use these values appropriately at browser or page or webEdit(in this login functionality case). I am finding this to be pretty messy.
8. Please tell me if there could be any other optimized way of doing this?

I hope you have got my problem

Thanks,
VJ

Re: QTP issues

Newbie, please change the title of your posting to an appropriate description of your problem. "QTP Issues" is not.
