Testing for Exist Dynamically Generated Objects

As a possible workaround to my previous post on Status Bars, I'm trying to test for the existing on the SWFTable that will appear in my app once the status bar has disappeared. I'm try in to test for the existing of the SWFTable within a While loop. The syntax passes but the error message reads the SWFTable object does not support the Exist property. According to the Object Model reference it Does support the Exists property.
Question: Are there differences when trying to detect objects that are dynamically loaded onto the page? The code statement used for the window identification was captured during a recording session, so I would think that the Window.SWFTable .exist is at least correct.
I may be making to many assumptions.
