run from command line
I have a simple question but I could not find an answear in this forum yet.
In our company we want to set up a test environment. One part will be to test the WebApps frontend. QTP shall work in a testscenario where other testscripts prepare for example the database and all necessary steps and then QTP shall be started automatically from the command line. My question is if it is possible to start QTP test scripts from the command line and after it has finished to give a feedback so that other testscripts can run in order to end the test scenario?
Re: run from command line
Look at the QuickTest Automation Object Model Reference (in the help menu). There are also batch runners (see forum search) that can do something similar. I don't know what the tools do but since the automation object model is a script, you should be able to set it up to report the info you want.
