I'm new to using QTP and trying to use VBScript to write some simple test programs. I'd like to use the QTP Crypt Object utility in VBScript but I don't know how to reference it from the application object. To access the DataTable object I use:
Dim App 'As Application
Set App = CreateObject("QuickTest.Application")
set qtTest = App.Test
set qtSheet = App.Test.DataTable
which works fine. But how do I reference the Crypt Object?
QTP has a set of utility objects available. The Crypt utility is used to encrypt passwords for the setsecure method to use when it's doing a login test. I'd need to use this utility as I load the DataTable automatically and encrypt the passwords. QTP doesn't give an example of how to reference this utilty for it's use.

Well, I am working on finding such things for my book and i found this from registry. There are many more things that will come in that. Just waiting for reply from Oreilly, if they would be interested in publishinhg it.
Does this work on a PC with QTP 10.0 as well? I have been trying to figure this out for a while, but without any luck. I keep getting the error: "the specified module cannot be found" each time I execute it. However, it does work when executed in QTP.
