Dear All ,
I have qtp 9.0 installed on my system.How can we monitor performance using QTP?
This really ought to have been posted in the QTP forum.
However, I'd suggest looking at:- http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...32_process.asp
You could write some VBScript to write process and system performance counter information to file with the File System object or to Excel using excel automation.
Hope this helps.
Is there some other way of doing it?
User "timer" events reporting to the report on how long an event took to complete. This obviously only reports on the "user experience" type performance but is simpler and possibly adequate.
You could try listing the processes using WMI (in addition to colin g's post). Something along the lines of .....
wmiNS = "\[root]\cimv2" whatever the root name is
wmiQuery = "Select name, ExecutablePath from win32_process"
i = 0
I like what i know and I know what i like
Any specific need for doing that?
