Why do you not want to use the SystemUtil.run method?... you could always put the pathin a txt file and associate itas an external resource and then use the 'ExecuteFile' method.

sometimes there its needed to get the informations about the links stored in the startup-menu. it's especially interesting if you wanna have a look for restricted user entries and group dependet entries in the startmen
i solved the problem with looking for the entries in the file system (for all users or for the actual user logged in). if anyone found another way: i'm interested in the solution
