I'm Usinng QTP an IE6 and I often receive IEerror stating:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem:
AppName: iexplorer.exe, AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180, ModName: mshtml.dll
Do you happen to know if it's QuickTest Professional related problem (ie crashed due to QTP) or it's probably an iexplorer problem (not related to QTP at all).
PS: I'd search through the internet and found some explanations and tried several steps in order to solve the problem but nothing worked so far.
I someone has a clue please help me
You use any toolbars or anything?

Tarun: No, I'm not using any toolbars (Got a fresh XP installed, fresh Updates for Windows and IE6 too - so I'm expecting everything to work as fine as possible )
Janna: I can only hope someone will find a solution
Thanks for replies!
I've installed Visual Studion 2005 an now I'm receiving the error:
"An unhandled win32 exception occured in IEXPLORE.exe"
do you want to debug.
I pretty much think it's the same error (due to mshtml.dll), but still I can't seem to find a solution
Ok, Try one thing. Try to record everything on explorer.exe instead of iexplore.exe and see if that also crashes.
