Hello again QA land.

I have a web application/customer area that is currently in need of some testing. Before I do any functional testing I wanted to start off with navigational checks. These checks are basically two tests.

Can I login to the web site? Are the specified links taking me to the proper landing pages?

I have the login portion handled.

The link checkpoints are confusing me. Now I know I can verify this information in many different ways, however I'm looking for what some might consider a proper method.

Anyway I just wanted to hear from other QA people who may have or are doing something similar with their testing. What methods are you using to verify links, landing pages, etc...

Thanks for the time, highly appreciated.
