Need to compare the result returned on GUI screen to the database table, any advice as to how to do it?

    Nimm,

Please do not use uppercase as you are doing - it is considered as the equivalent of shouting and apart from being bad manners is against the rules and guidelines of the forum.

Connect to the database and get the data.
Get the data from the screen.
    See if it matches.
    Report result.

Well, QTP could write all the screen results to an excel file but I don't think that holds any advantage to comparing while you go along
