I did a search and was surprised not to find anything on this topic.
I was wondering how people are handling version control with their QTP scripts. We have tried to use Quality Center but our .vbs files are being added as attachments to the script. Most of our code resides in the .vbs file so this makes us uncomfortable.
We were thinking that we would use vss or pvcs but the scripts in QTP end up being a folder with many other items.
Can someone share how they are handling version control on their scripts and all dependent files?
I have PVCS however it is not integrated with QC8.2 and up
so we purchased VSS which is integrated with QC9.0 and later.
in general MS products works fine with MI products , so I advice you to use the VSS.
