TE objects Smart Identification
I am trying to use smart identification for the Terminal Emulator objects TEScreen and TEField.
1. Any user experiences good/bad??
2. I read in the forum to disable smart identification while recording and enbale while running to get good results.. I am unable to do this as When disabled while recording the Enable smart identification in Object Repository is always disabled. But if you enable it in object settings before recording and record it gives you the choice of making it true or false in Obj Rep. IS this the way it meant to be??
3. I enabled smart identification for TEScreen with label as mandatory property and screenid as optional in the Smart identification config. It identifies any screen irrespective of the 'screen id' and 'label' when the smart identification is set True. Probabaly this is because being smart it tries to find teh scrren with label if not matched tries with the screen id and even if that does not match it selects the available screen as teh AUT has only one screen???? How to over come this?
My requirement (thought) is to first check the screen label is matching or not and then if not check for the screen id (which is in smart identification optional param config) and even if that does not match then throw object not found (and not to select what ever the scrren is available). Any thoughts or ideas to acheive this???
