A Great problem with XML checkpoint !!!!!
In our application a report is generated which is not identified by QTP. So we export it as xml file in a local folder and have a xml checkpoint to check some values. But xml checkpoint checks for the values in the xml file stored in the folder and not from the report generated at runtime. So the problem arises when the report is not printed and still the checkpoint passes as it checks for the values from the xml file in the local folder. Is there any way by which the report generated can be exported at runtime as xml and checked for the values??? Please help....
Re: A Great problem with XML checkpoint !!!!!
After you have passed the XML checkpoint, move the file to an alternative location and delete the one QTP checks.
