The scenario : - Application has form submit to the manager's inbox. the Mail Table has 2 columns the first column being "name of the Mail" and the 2 column being Description of the e-mail. Each mail has unique ARN number for example Mail ARN #23, Mail ARN #45..or the Mial with Name(FirstName+LastName) ...so all i have to do is if i have to search for mail ARN #415 in the 2nd column and in the corresponding 1st coloumn i have to click on the Name
The Problem is with the code i have written to click the mail it clicks the very first occurence of the Mail...i did not handle the check for the Second column...any idea on how to check with the Name(FirstName + LastName) or with ARN Number.
Public Function AddNewUserMail
If Browser("Identity_Manager").Page("Identity_Manager ").Link("Add_New_User_Rqst").Exist Then
Reporter.ReportEvent micPass,"Add New User Request email Exist",""
Reporter.ReportEvent micFail,"Add New User Request email does not Exist ",""
I Have also attached the Managers mailbox looks like.
I'm guessing that there may be 0-N instances of the sought-after value in column A, and also 0-N instances of the sought-after value in column B.
I would handle this differently than you have in your example, though there may well be multiple good approaches.
I would loop through the table values in column A seeking the target value, then if found, evaluate the value in column B; then if the Column A and Column B values represent the value you're looking for, click the link or whatver you need to do.
