Best Way of Doing Iterations?
I want to do the following scenario:
1. Seed Data
2. Seed More Data Based on Data From Step 1
3. Execute Test
4. Verify Results
5. Maybe clean up data
Step 1 uses rows of data from data table. I see step 2 being done before step 1 reads the next row. From what I've read, one way of doing this is by having action 1 perform step 1 and step 2. The runAction statement would then call the action for the number of rows in the table. I'm under the assumption that the data would then be seeded before the test is executed. So here's my question. Is this the best way? Are their other ways? I was going to forget about setting up actions and create a loop to run through the table, but not sure how to determine the numer of rows in table or end of table.
Re: Best Way of Doing Iterations?
I really can't give a good comment on this but i would just say if your method is working fine and does not have any issues then you should be fine.
