Who knows how to create a optional arguement in a function.
The procedures and functions you write yourself using VBScript cannot have optional arguments. However you can workaround by making a mandatory argument internally ignored in your function.
could you give me more detail about it.thx
You could make the function caller with a value like "Null" for the optional argument. If the function encounters this value you could make that behave accordingly.
If optArg="Null" Then
You could pass any number of parameters in a dictionary object or look at the following article: http://www.softwareinquisition.com/2...ts-in-vbscript
If you had to identify, in one word, the reason
why the human race has not achieved, and never
will achieve, its full potential that word would be "meetings".
