I\'ve lost my data sheets and can\'t get them back!
Has anyone had this problem?
I have a script with three actions and one datatable named default.xls with three sheets (one Global and two local with unique names.) I was running this script (was debugging) when the mouse (intellipoint) stopped working. I used keyboard shortcuts to save my script then booted the machine. When I opened the script again, it couldn't find the datatable. Shortly after Excel popped up that it had tried to repair the spreadsheet and might have put the data in the wrong cells. I saved the "repaired" spreadsheet, checked it out to see if my data was okay, it seemed so and saved it to use it in my script again.
But now the script won't see the different sheets. It only says it has imported "Sheet1" which is my my Global sheet. The other two sheets are not shown. It I look at this spreadsheet directly in Excel, the different sheets are named what I originally named them through QTP.
I've tried using DataTable.Import and DataTable.ImportSheet, but I keep getting an error that the operation failed because access is denied.
What the heck is going on? Do I need to reinstall QTP? What other troubleshooting should be done?

This community provides so much help and knowledge. Thank you for your replies. I wish I had more to report.
Yesterday I had tried all of your suggestions with no success. However, today when I opened my script, all was well again. Does QTP have some poltergeists that we should be made aware of? Or is this an Astrology "Capricorn is in Jupiter" so QTP's biorhythms are low kind of thing?
I am baffled, but I guess the scripting will go on...
