I did some research on the dojo box in the current app I have and the object associated with it is a JS object and is never picked up by QTP because it is not there on the form (HTML) Page. So getting a handle to it is difficult.
1) The element/combo box is created and destroyed in the JS.Can QTP access and inject values in Java script (which are not even on the HTML Page).
2) I tried simulating all methods the dev have done but it does not set the value.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more info is needed.
If we just ask QTP to identify it - it observes it as a webedit and the 'set' will not work on it. So i performed low level recording on it.
