Has anybody tried to combine CTE XL with QTP?
CTE XL is great (and free!) tool which allows you to construct classification trees and then automatically generate test cases based on that.
You can also export the test cases in a number of formats (i.e. excel, html, txt, rtf, even test director, etc.) but nothing quite in the right style for quick test!
Has anybody combined these two to auto generate test cases and run them via QTP with minimum intervention? Even better, has anybody written a script to convert the exported file into QTP friendly format?
