Can we use QTP and SAFS to implement keyword driven test?

I heard about SAFS and RRAFS and I downloaded the package of them.
In the package of SAFS framework, i found that there is a SAFSQTP class in the org.safs.tools.engines package, does that mean that we can already use QTP and SAFS to implement the keyword driven test the framework supports?

BTW, I have seen some discussion on the keyword-driven implementation of QTP. Some people say that the keyword-driven framework which QTP claim to have implemented is not a real "keyword-driven framework". I have some questions about this.
Since QTP use Object Repository to recognize object in the AUT, if shared repository is used during the whole test, then only one point modification is required when the GUI has some changes. So on this point, QTP has implemented one of the feature that RRASF/SAFS provides to implement a keyword-driven famework, right? So what's the main difference between using QTP and real keyword-driven framework?

The data handling in QTP will be a big limitation for an effective framework.

I have a framework that will allow me to write one keyword in Expert View.

    For example

    "Reggession"

This one word will start a process that will run tests from a master Excel file. All navigation and data is controlled by the Excel file.

    Thanks IanF!
I think I got the main difference now.
Is your framework based on SAFS? Does the engine for QTP in SAFS already work?

I did read the SAFS documents when I was working with Rational Robot but I didnt use that process. I haven't seen SAFS for QTP. My framework is taken from my experiance from using Rational and Mercury Tools.

There is no magic answer to a Framework just hard work.

    Olivia,

QTP has a "keyword" view, but it does not implement a keyword-driven framework. This is an exercise left up to the test automation developer.

Re: Can we use QTP and SAFS to implement keyword driven test?

IanF: I want to do some research on automation framework for my master dissertation. Is your framework application-binded or not(like SAFS)? How long it takes you to implement a raw framework(I mean ,a framework that just can run)?
    Thanks again!

Re: Can we use QTP and SAFS to implement keyword driven test?

IanF: Can you give some guidelines and/or specifications that one can follow while thinking of a framework...

We are planning to start automation in our team...It would be great if we start in the right direction from the beginning

It would be a great help...

    Thanks in advance !
