I have lists of records on my app screen where the number of rows may differ (depending on what I've entered beforehand) any time the page is displayed, i.e. dynamic number of records on the page. The user has to select at least one row via checkbox on one screen and via radio button on a similar screen.
The thing is: the object name/reference number for each of these checkboxes and radio buttons is also dynamic, i.e. the reference changes (incremented) every time I run the test so, essentially, I cannot select anything once played back.
E.g. when I record selection of checkboxA its object name is "000001" in the object repository, but when I play it back the same checkboxA name is "000002", so it's not recognised!
Is there any way to get around this? Short of mapping the pixel position on screen and point clicking the curor on it? (Willing to do this too if it's possible.)
