Check if .Net AddIn is installed correctly into system. Sometimes it doesn't, even if QTP indicates at the beginning, that .NET addIn is loaded.
To check it:
Go2 Tools --> Object Identification.
Expand Combobox Environment for any Test Object. You have to see .NET Window forms and .NET Web Forms among the other AddIn items.
If some of them is missed - install .Net AddIn again. You can do it right on the top of existing installation.
1. please spy the object, what is the "swftypename" property value?
QTP supports only the following ones:
- controls from the System.Windows.Forms library;
- controls that are inherited from System.Windows.Forms.Control class.
2. What FW do your applications run under? QTP 9.0 and .NET add-in 8.2 support only FW 1.1.
