    SWFButton won\'t click with Descriptive Programming

    Hey all.

    I've using DP to operate a SWFButton.
    The object is identified, and everything works well (GetROProperty, Type, etc.), except for the click method, which results in a run-time error.

    If i add the button to my OR, and still use DP, the click command excecutes fine, but without the object in the OR, click, and ONLY click, fails.

    Any thoughts? I would hate using the OR after building an extensive DP framework as i have.

    Yaron I use the text property of SwfButtons to interact with them and never have any problems, here's a sample of my code:

    .SwfButton("text:=Send").Click

    Try using the .object properties and the use the actual function to do a click.

    Re: SWFButton won\'t click with Descriptive Programming

    Well, after long hours of trial and error, this seems to work :

    oSwfbutton.Object.Focus
    oSwfButton.FireEvent "Click"

    Oddly, only this combination worked.

    For record's sake, i'm using QTP 9.0 under win2003 enterprise server.
