    Run time error..

    Hi all,

    when i open QTP,some times it's giving run time error message. message is as follows,

    Runtime error:

    c:..MercuryInteractive\QuickTestProffessional\bin\ QTPro.exe

    R6025
    -pure virtual function call


    can any body tell,why I'm seeing this error message and what's the solution for this..

    Uninstall and re-install QTP instead of wasting time...

    Interestingly enough reinstalling 5 times as well as using the clean uninstall utility did not resolve this error. I logged in as a different user and low and behold no more exception. So the fix was to delete my user profile and log back in. This blows up the license install but that takes much less time than reinstalling. I saw quite a few threads regarding this error so I thought I'd share my solution.
