I have a DB checkpoint in my script. When i modify the query that i have given in the checkpoint, expected results does not change as per the newly modified query. When i run the test, the result still shows the data that was captured in the old query(before modification) that was given in the check point.
I think you are asking about the check point properties(like expected values). No i did not change the check point properties. But now i tried changing the check point properties(Expected values) and ran the script but values are still same as before. The expected values does'nt reflect the output of new query.
Hmmm... I think it might be the actual query itself (rather the construction of it) which might be returning the same values. Can you post queries? Just remove any sensitive data, just to give an idea of what it is you are calling.
Consider i have table T1 with 5 columns(id,name,name1,name2,name3).My first query in the DB check point is "Select id from T1",so the expected result for this should be list of id and i modified the query as "Select * from T1", so now the expected result should be all the data of table T1, but result as well as expected value of DB check point shows the output of query "Select id from T1"
