In an Html Page, I have a kind of treeView composed by a list of WebElement.
Obviously, I don't want to enter each value of the list in the repository, so I Want to click on a WebElement by given it's name. Who to do this ?
I have already test syntax like
"Browser("Browser").Window("Window").Page("Page"). WebElement("name:=" & xxxx).Click" where xxxx is a variable name, but it does not work.
1- why do you use variable for the name ?does it change? how?
2- in order to recognize the wildcards in the WebElement's name you have to have a "\" in front of each wildcard
pls try this
Browser("Browser").Window("Window").Page("Page").W ebElement("name:="\+\ \- COM1").Click
if it works then I will take it from there , otherwise there is a bummer.
