Complete Save from TD/QC to file system
We're using TD to store and run our QTP scripts.
This works well, however whenever we need to save a local copy of a test (for usage with BAC and such), it becomes a very costly task, as we need to save all the external actions as well, and then change thier references to point to the file system location.
Is there any way to batch save a test and all the actions it calls to the file system, and update thier inner-references automaticaly?
Re: Complete Save from TD/QC to file system
I do not know about doing a batch save, however, the issue you have with the reference to external actions can be fix by the use or relative paths.
The relative paths advantage is that it is based on a folder structure, it does not matter if it is in TD, QC and network drive as long as the folder structure is the same.
Do some research on relative path to see if this meets your needs.
