I am using QTP 9.0 with Java Add-in 8.2
When I start my java based application, then following error message is displayed on screen.
"This application has failed to start because MicMoveVariant.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"
So I am not able to recognize any java objects on my application.
Has anybody come across similar problem?
Any kind of help is appreciated.
1- go to [QTP installation directory] by default it should be as below:
C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\bin
search for MicMoveVariant.dll
if you find it then in the same folder (i.e.Bin) proceed for step 2 , otherwise jump to step 3.
2- Double click on QUICKT~1.BAT
this Batch file will register all the QTP dll files.
3- if you didn't find the file MicMoveVariant.dll , try to copy it from another QTP9.0 machine and go to step 2.
"I realize it's an error, but no one is going to try to do that!"
