WebElement Not being recognised by QTP
I'm having a bit of trouble with recording a script after the company I work for has changed the way they are displaying titles on pages.
In our automation pack we use the page titles to check that the script is in the right place, but now QTP will not record the action of clicking on the page title so I can change it to the exist method.
The HTML has changed from <td colspan = "2" class= "formheader" > Title of page </td> to
<company: headerBar> Title of Page </company: headerbar>
Unfortunatley I'm not so hot on HTML, so I'm not sure why this would cause QTP a problem, any ideas greatfully received.
Re: WebElement Not being recognised by QTP
I should also mention I've tried upping the web event recording configuration to high.
