In the Bin folder under the QTP installation directory I noticed some executable files (utilities)which I like to know their purpose and usage.
here are the files:
any one has any experience with these files?
nevertheless, some times I see the LR agent running without using LoadRunner? and some times I see a small icon for a QTP agent running. However I recorded a script and play it back successfully without these 2 agents. so what are these agents for?
I appreciate your help.

Wcommute is used if you are using concreent licences. It allows you to "check out" a licence for up to 30 days if you are going to be away from your QTP licence server for a while and still work on QTP.
I'm not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.
SilenTestRunner is one of the installed tools I have used on occasion to run a script, when I don't have a concurrent license available but want to check that it runs in another environment. The script runs as a virtual user and produces a reasonably detailed report you can use for debugging environment issues.
Take a look in the Start menu under Tools.
