Select row from java table ( name is not constant)
I have a javatab in which there is a javatable.I cannot select a particular row from the table because the name is recorded as 'Record 1 of 27' and it will change to 'Record 1 of 28' if new row is added. So if I specify to select row #10 before change it is a different # after change. Is there any way I can particularly select the actual row by knowing column name and cell value.
Re: Select row from java table ( name is not constant)
I think my description was little confusing.QTP is recording the table name as 'Record 1 of 27' which is the status bar showing how many records are in the table. So if 10 records are added it will be 'Record 1 of 37'.'Record 1 of 27' is definitely not the table name.Setting a regular expression on this object might work but i want to select a particular row based on its value in one of the cells and not mentioning the row# anywhere.
