Discriminating multiple checkpoints in a test script
New to QTP. So far my impression was: When there are multiple checkpoints in a test script; if any of the checkpoints fails in the execution, the test result for the entire script is recorded as failed. Is it possible to specify such that, only the result of a specific one of the multiple checkpoints determines the Pass/Failed status of the test, with the rest of them serve only for reference/informational?
Thank you much!
Re: Discriminating multiple checkpoints in a test script
Here is a workaround for your concern ...
place the following before your 'reference' CheckPoint
and place the following after your 'reference' checkPoint
So that those reference checkPoints won't be reported.
