I have a line in my script like this:-
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">VbWindow("regexpwndtitle:=Policy Number Allocation".VbButton("regexpwndtitle:=Continue".Click</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">I have ran this script many times on several PCs for over 6 months, but suddenly its stopped working on one PC, with error Unable to identify object. No development work has been done in this area recently.
If I put the Object Spy on the button, it shows the values are correct. After I have pointed the Object Spy at the button, QTP will now recognise it!
Does DP use the Object Identification settings in QTP, or Smart Identification? Any other ideas on how to improve identification while using DP?
The most annoying thing is it still works on another PC with the same version of AUT and the same QTP settings.
