when I called an existing test the first column in it's global sheet didn't show up ?
is this a known QTP issue? have any one encountered the same behavior?

I don't think it is QTP Issue, Please check the column name
With Best Regards
I think it is a QTP issue . I saved my test in the local machine and after calling the reusable action I retrived all the columns but the first one!
it's really weird
I have also experienced issues with column names from a reusable action, although my issue is that the column names are being re-ordered. I contacted Mercury support and they have indicated that there is a known bug with this.
