DataTable with multiple rows won\'t iterate
I have an action that opens the application under test, imports a sheet (multiple rows) into a child action's datatable, and calls the child action.
The child action imports a sheet into the global datatable, reads the values it needs from it, and runs its test (one of several iterations, since it's the action with the multiple-rowed datatable). Before finishing, it updates the sheet that was brought to the global datatable and saves it (using Excel.Application).
This action runs on each row of its datatable.
My problem is, when the child action moves on to its next iteration (the next row in its datatable), it pulls the first row's data again. In fact, it always pulls the first rows data, even though it indicates that it's on a later row.
Has anyone come across this? Am I breaking the rules using the global datatable to bring peripheral values into my test? Can anyone think of a workaround?
Thanks in advance
Re: DataTable with multiple rows won\'t iterate
Break the rules even more dump the Datatable and use Excel. There are plenty of posts here on how to do that.
