I have a WebEdit (textbox). I am trying to put some value in it using following statement.
But, the script breaks saying "The parameter is incorrect"
Why is this happening?
Browser("DART").Page("DART").Frame("Data").WebEdit ("SiteKeyName").Set "Auto_Site_KeyName_"
can you manually type the string into the web edit?
Did you try to use the .Type "Auto_Site_KeyName_", instead of .Set command ?
Type is working alright for me.
.Type doesn't work with
Browser("DART").Page("DART").Frame("Data").WebEdit ("SiteKeyName").Type "Auto_Site_KeyName_"
How come you are saying that it worked fine for you?
first try to click on the edit box then use
set or Type command.

If you use "Type" instead of "Set" you will get this error message "Object doesn't support this property or method".
I am not able to get how did Rationallearner and Ksangeetha used Type instead of Set.
