what is the diff between reusable action & calling function from *.vbs file in QTP?
I know the concepts of reusalbe action & calling a function from *.vbs file in QTP. As I'm very much new to automation, I would like to know where we use exactly reusable action & calling function say like for login function of an application. What is the exact difference? Does the calling script needs to have all the objects properties which are mentioned in the function of *.vbs file?? whereas the reusuable action should have the objects in that script itself when the calling script may not have the objects which are in reusable action??
Can you make the difference clear to me??
Thanks for your Clarifications!!

The big difference between two is that an action can have repository associated with it while and vbs can't. So you can't use stadalone vb script to test an application until unless its a pure DP based script. And use of VBS for commonly used functions as well as to group some logical part of your action under a function name and call all the functions in that action to make a script more readable.
