QTP and QC

Hi
everytime I change the contents of the environment xml file in QC , I have to restart QTP inorder for these changes to take effect.
any other way to refresh QTP without restarting it?
Thanx

Re: QTP and QC

Hi,

There is no need to restart QTP for the changes to take effect, u just need to reload the Environment Varilables in "Environment" Tab of Test->Settings.

I think this will do

Re: QTP and QC

Thanx Wasim
I hard coded that Environment.LoadFromFile ("[QualityCenter] Subject\Automated\Config\EnvFile.xml")

after reading your post I used the QTP Environment by checking Load variables & values from external file (reloaded each run session)
and I attached the file, is there is any way to hard code this?
Thank you

Re: QTP and QC

Hi Deng,

Its a good practise not to hard code any entity in the test script, so just chill out

I dont think theres any other way of hard coding it apart of Environment.LoadFromFile("XML file").

Thanks,
Wasim
