Well, my company wants me to convert to QTP soon and wants to send me to a Mercury training course. I know Mercury has several classes on QTP and am wondering which one would be the most effective overall. I don't want to only learn how to do basic stuff like record and playback, etc.
I am pretty proficient in WinRunner if that helps at all. Hopefully QTP won't be too hard to pick up.
Re: QTP training
Shamster follow the QTP tutorial because that's all the training course does. Then look to learn Windows Script Technologies - VBScript, WSH & WMI.
I started with a book by Jerry Lee Ford called "WSH & VBScript for the absolute beginner" then purchased "Windows 2000 Scripting Guide" and "VBScript in a nutshell" to advance my knowledge.
